(Colombia CNSAM). On February 14, 2015 pastors and delegates gathered together with the District Superintendent, Rev. Luis Meza, to celebrate the District Assembly in Eje Cafetero. It was a very special meeting, full of expectations and was chaired by the Rev. Jerrison Ambuila.
Among the relevant aspects, the following are highlighted:
In 2013, a mission was launched in the city of Cartago. In the District Assembly last year, many were motivated to work in the process of organizing the church and, thank God, in this Assembly, it was presented as organized church. On December 17, 2014, it was organized with 63 full members. The church is called Iglesia del Nazareno Ríos de Agua Viva (Rivers of Living Water Church of the Nazarene) and the pastor is Sister Adaly Henao.
In the city of Manizales, there is a strong prayer movement. Every day at 4:00AM, Pastor Elizabeth Rodriguez is met on the mountain in a very dangerous area and, through prayer, the sector has changed dramatically; there have been new people attending the church.
The Central Church of Armenia continues to work with its missionary vision to plant a church in every village of Quindio. They have already succeeded in bringing the Church of the Nazarene to several of these municipalities.
The Eje Cafetero District grew by 8% and is organizing a new church.
