Central Argentina District Ordination

(Argentina CNSAM). On March 8th, the Church of the Nazarene’s Central Argentina District gathered for a service, filled with joy and celebration. On this occasion, and in conjunction with the Buenos Aires West District, five licensed ministers Jessica Torres, Ricardo Fretes, Carlos Radi, Ezequiel Ramirez and Susana Pallares, were ordained.

Ordination services are very meaningful, both for those who have answered God’s call to serve as pastors and for the lay people in attendance. A link with the world-wide church is established. During this particular service, General Superintendent Dr. David Graves represented the global Church of the Nazarene. God’s power was manifested in the pastors who surrounded those being ordained as they prayed to thank God and bless those who were obedient to His call.

The preaching of God’s Word was followed by the climax of the service when the ordinands took a position of submission and humility and knelt at the altar. The General Superintendent laid his hands on them and admonished them to “preach the Word, be faithful, endure hardship, care for the flock, do the work and proclaim the message of holiness”.
