(Ecuador CNSAM). With great joy and a blessing Mission Orientation Camp Campamento de Orientación Misionera (COM) took place in Ecuador.
From November 13-15, 2015, Nazareno Campamento (“Camp Nazarene”) in Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas welcomed the 18 participants who were sent by their districts from different parts of the country. It was a group of many ages from adolescents and youth to adults.
The dynamic workshops and sermons were directed by missionary Liliana Reza, Regional Coordinator of Global Mission; Jefferson Estevez, Coordinator of Global Mission Ecuador; and Esdras Jiménez, Integral Ministries Coordinator for Ecuador. Also present was Sister Lastenia Bolanios, National NMI Coordinator.
Each day began with devotional that caused the young people to focus the rest of the day in God. One of these devotionals was led by the team of “Extreme Nazarene” which also invited attendees to assist in their ministry of new church planting projects. During the day there were workshops, activities, and games focused on missions.
Each evening ended with a time of meditation that challenged the young people to confirm God’s call to service and missions. Testimonies of missionary and pastoral calls were received at the end of the event. Continue to pray for these young people and the plans of God in their lives.
