(Argentina CNSAM). On August 10, 2013 in the Gutierrez, Maipú, Mendoza Church of the Nazarene a SDMI (Sunday School and Discipleship Ministries International) training was held for teachers, leaders and pastors of the Cuyo District.
The training began at 10:30 A.M. and was lead by Pastor Patricia Picavea, Regional SDMI Coordinator for the South America Region.
During the course of the day a workshop on SDMI Organization and Administration was given in which it was seen how the SDMI board is made up and the role that each member plays in it. They also spoke about materials more suitable for each class from CNP (Casa Nazarene de Publicaciones) emphasizing the importance of maintaining the essence of our doctrine.
The training was enriched with the valuable support of every teacher and leader that shared testimonies, anecdotes and concerns that occur in the context in which each serves the Lord in Christian education; and with the vast experience of Pastor Patricia Picavea which was a blessing to the participants.
The training was a blessing for the district, the guidance of the Holy Spirit motivated 40 leaders to participate in the said event organized by Sister Cristina Tello, SDMI District President and President of the SDMI District Board, with the complete support of Rev. Mariano Garay, District Superintendent.
