(Venezuela CNSAM). For the first time, training on church planting was held April 27-29, 2015, in the city of Barinas, Llanos District – 50 people gathered: 30 pastors and 20 leaders.
With great joy and enthusiasm, brothers from the Llanos, Centro (Central), Primero (First) and Lago (Lake) Districts arrived at the Church of the Nazarene in Pozones, Barinas, to be educated and challenged to plant new churches.
This time, the course “Essentials to plant churches” of DCPI (Dynamic Church Planting International) was given; and the instructors were: Rev. Carlos Cordero, Coordinator of Comprehensive Ministries in Venezuela; Rev. Oscar Medina Guzman, Coordinator of Comprehensive Ministries in Peru; Allan Shepherd Diaz, qualified DCPI in Venezuela; and Napoleon Guerrero, Regional Coordinator of Evangelism and DCPI instructor.
With great conviction participants presented their projects for planting new churches. From this event, 10 new churches plants were planned: 2 in the Lago District, 1 in Centro, 3 in Primero District and 4 in the Llanos District. Glory to God!
Participants received a certificate for passing the course “Essentials to plant churches,” the content of which provides them with tools for church planting. The group included pastors and lay leaders of the participating districts.
The next course will run June 23-25, 2015, to train certified instructors planned, giving a new level of training more specific to enrich the country of the church planting. The Lago District in Venezuela will host the meeting in the city of Maracaibo, Zulia state.
