(Peru CNSAM) The Evangelism Ministry through its DCPI (Dynamic Church Planting International) Program, trained for three days more than 50 people – leaders and pastors of the Peru Central-Lima District.
Between January 28 and 30, 2015, program participants received the Fundamentals of Church Planting course. The course was attended by several highly qualified pastors coming from different countries. Rev. Carlos Cordero (CIM from Venezuela), Rev. Mario Paredes (Riobamba District Superintendent in Ecuador) and Rev. Oscar Medina (Trujillo-Chavin District Superintendent) were all present. All of them were guided under the direction of Regional Outreach Coordinator, Rev. Napoleon Guerrero, who was also among the speakers.
During those days, the leaders and pastors were encouraged and challenged to plant churches and thus contribute to the extension of God’s kingdom. On the last day of the training the participants, divided by region and district, presented 11 church-planting projects in the city of Lima. Our hope and prayer is that each of these projects can be implemented and bring much fruit.
We thank the Lima Central District Superintendent, Rev. Marcial Rubio, for organizing the event and for all his efforts during that time. We are also grateful to God for working in every heart during this training. We encourage other districts to take advantage of this great resource that allows new churches to be planted in places where the gospel is not yet known.
