(Uruguay CNSAM). The Strong Tower Church of the Nazarene in the city of Montevideo is extending the Kingdom of God by beginning a new church.
With their vision set on what God has called them to do, the pastors Arlys and Marianela Antunez from the Strong Tower Church located in the Piedras Blancas neighborhood of Montevideo in Uruguay’s South District are working diligently to plant new churches.
September 21, 2013, they celebrated the opening of a new church in the Victoria neighborhood. It was formed after three months of meeting in homes. The Victoria neighborhood in the west zone of Montevideo, is heavily populated. With the pastors’ vision, the mother church has made the commitment to sustain the rented building at 302 Benito Riquet on the corner of Fraternidad where they have been meeting.
They began meeting with five people, and in three months that number has tripled.
The Antunezes dream that the Church of the Nazarene in the Victoria neighborhood would be a unique place where they reach lost people in that zone where God has placed them to serve, restoring families with the love of Christ.
