(CNSAM Argentina) From March 31 to April 2, 2016 the 13th Decentralized College Teacher Improvement of Day (FADES) was held at Nazarene Theological Seminary of the South Cone.
This day is held annually with the purpose of training teachers in their task of giving Bachelor program courses in different districts of the South Cone. We were privileged to have the participation of 70 teachers from different districts of Argentina and Uruguay, as well as their respective superintendents and district coordinators of Decentralized Theological Studies (DTS).
Conferences and lectures contributed to the development of teachers in their work, conducted in a reflection of the environment and debate on the topics discussed. The guests for the occasion were: Dr. Nestor Miguez Bonino, Renowned Bible scholar and author of several books, Dr. René Padilla, Latin American theologian and international speaker, Dr. Carlos Mraida, pastor and author of several books, Lic. Mario Martínez, Nazarene missionary in Guinea Bissau, Africa; among other speakers and guest speakers. The themes were Hermeneutic Latin America, Relations in the Ministry, full Mission, Church Renewal and pedagogical issues in Theological Education.
We thank God for the time shared with the teachers of the South Cone who enriched their capacity through these days; it was a time of fellowship and communion.
