(Argentina CNSAM). The discipleship and evangelistic reggae music ministry of the Church of the Nazarene in Monte Grande, Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina closed 2014 with a video and concert.
Good Medication was born in 2009 by the initiative of Cristian Stoppiello and Joel Lescano whom came to know Christ through reggae music and felt that, that genre had potential to spread the Good News and God confirmed so. Celeste and Priscila lead the choruses, Alan on bass, Ignacio on keyboards, Pablo played the drums, Federico on guitar and Pablenke on tenor sax.
After five years playing in schools, bars, pubs, cultural centers, churches (Catholic and Evangelical) Good Medication premiered their first professional video: ‘The Solution’, the first single from their album ‘Patience’ (2013).
The video was filmed and produced by SAM productions in Pilar, Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is going around on social networks since December 25th with immediate results and looks to be a great evangelistic tool because of its lyrical clarity and depth, musical harmony and beauty through visual creativity.
Three days after the video premiered they closed the year with an open-air concert in a poor neighborhood called ‘the triumph’ of Monte Grande city, finishing up a four day tour put on by the organization ‘Manos a la obra’ (get to work) and the Catholic Pastoral University of Lomas de Zamora.
“The neighborhood was impacted by the message of the love of Christ that our brothers communicated, proof that together we can do more”, Andrés Ávalos, priest and coordinator for the event said.
