(Argentina CNSAM). On Saturday, November 17, 2012, in the town of Pilar, Buenos Aires, the 2012 graduation ceremony was held at Nazarene Theological Seminary, Southern Cone.
In an atmosphere of celebration, 30 students from different districts of the Southern Cone Field (Argentina, Chile, Uruguay) and from the District of La Paz, Bolivia, received their diplomas. They graduated from the various programs offered by the Seminary: Diploma in Theology, Associates of Theology, Bachelor of Theology, Theological Diploma in Teaching (Decentralized Theological Education teachers) and MS in Religious Studies with emphasis in the Mission of the Church (in conjunction with SENDAS-Costa Rica).
Among the special guests who attended were Dr. Salvador Dellutri, pastor of Church of Hope in San Miguel Province of Buenos Aires, international speaker and author of several books, who shared the message of the Word of God; Dr. Rubén Fernández, Rector of the Nazarene Seminary of the Americas (SENDAS-Costa Rica) who officiated at the graduation ceremony of the Master’s students; the Rev. Jesús Bernat, chairman of the Board of Directors of the Seminary; and other church leaders, as well as church members and families of the graduates.
Something worth mentioning is that this was the graduation of the first class of students in the Master’s program, which is taught in this institution in partnership with the Nazarene Seminary of the Americas (SENDAS) based in San Jose, Costa Rica. Graduates of this program were Alberto and Rosita Ainscough, and daughter Naomi Diaz Ainscough, all Nazarene pastors in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The ceremony was broadcast live on the Internet through the website of the Nazarene Theological Seminary, Southern Cone (www.seminarionazareno.com.ar).
The administrative staff and faculty of the STN Southern Cone, led by its president, Dr. Jorge Julca, thank the Lord for his faithfulness in this new year of service to the Church of the Nazarene in the training of ministers.
