II Pastor Retreat in Loreto

(Peru CNSAM) July 24-26 II Pastor Retreat was held in the Loreto District in the Peru Field on the South America Region.

The District Center facilities located in Jr. Putumayo 2641, Iquitos, Peru was prepared for the event. The theme of the retreat was “Knowing Our Identity”. The purpose was for the pastors to reaffirm their knowledge of the core values of the Church of the Nazarene and to renew their love for Christ and His church in such a way that they will be able to continue making Christlike disciples.

Missionaries Larry and Addie Garman, Rev. Gregory Garman and a Work and Witness Team that were supporting the work in this district sponsored the activity.

The program for the pastor’s retreat included Nazarene Identity expositions, wonderful moments of joy and fellowship, musical concerts and other activities. The District Superintendent, Rev. Miguel Hervach, gave awards to those workers who worked hard and to those who had the most years of service in the Church of the Nazarene in Loreto.
