(Chile CNSAM). On November 2-3, 2012 in the city of Arica, Chile, there was a marriage retreat organized by the Church of the Nazarene of Juan Noé.
This activity involved 13 married couples belonging to the churches of Juan Noé and Guallatire. The speakers were Patricia and German Picavea, missionaries from the SAM Region.
Reinaldo, one of the husbands who attended with his wife Ruperta, gave this impression: “This retreat opened my eyes to the importance of giving the necessary time to marriage. From my youth, I never gave time to my wife and I learned today. I am happy; already I want (to go to) the second retreat.”
Pastor Raul Soto, activity organizer, said it is the first time an activity was organized for couples. The experience was enriching to the point that already they’re thinking of repeating it for next year and doubling the number of participants. “The CAFÉ Ministry (for CAsados FElices, ‘Happy Married Couples’), has been instrumental in the growth of the church,” Pastor Soto emphasized.
