(Uruguay CNSAM). On November 9, 2013, on the Southern Uruguayan District, a motivational missionary reunion, focused on youth but open to all the brethren, was held in the Church of the Nazarene in the Carrasco, Montevideo zone.
The missions conference was held within the context of both fellowship and a conference with the participation of the young Argentinian missionary, Natanael Picavea, as the principal speaker. Natanael serves on the Mesoamerica Region. He presented the project “Tell your Story” and he urged the folks present to give the good news to those who still do not know Jesus by using the testimony of their conversion. He also showed a video in which brethren from different Spanish-speaking countries gave their personal testimonies as a way to further the Kingdom of Heaven by impacting lives with a message of hope and power.
Showing in a practical way that through the experience of the new birth, the change in our way of living is a powerful evangelistic high impact weapon, Brother Gonzalo Berenguer of the Las Piedras Church of the Nazarene in the Canelones Province, gave his conversion testimony expressing how God changed his life and the lives of those around him.
This event included the participation of several churches from Montevideo and Canelones. Most of the participants were young people and after the meeting they had an opportunity to get acquainted with one another during a relaxed time of fellowship.
