(Uruguay CNSAM). From October 11-13, the ninth National Leaders with Purpose Training Retreat (ENCALP) was held in the Conference Center of the Uruguay North District in the city of Tacuarembó.
Approximately 80 national leaders shared a time of fellowship and a renewing of the vision of the Church of the Nazarene for this time; remembering and recognizing that the Church of the Nazarene in Uruguay has proposed the goal of healthy churches and of multiplication.
In this ninth ENCALP, speakers and workshop leaders such as Dr. John Hall participated and communicated about how to have a healthy church. Rev. Amadeo Teixeira from Brazil brought messages of direction at every opportunity. His wife Dr. de Teixeira also shared workshops for the pastoral families, “How to Face Struggles as a Couple.” Rev. David Acosta, Regional Coordinator for Nazarene Compassionate Ministries, and other local speakers also shared.
At the conclusion of the activity on Sunday, the participants expressed their desire and excitement about continuing to hold these retreats for training and reflection.
