(Guinea Bissau CNSAM). On October 13 and 20, 2014, the first training course was held in youth leadership thus starting youth ministry in Coqueiro, Guinea Bissau, West Africa.Romina and Leandro Barreto, a young couple who are volunteer missionaries, have been, since June 2014, supporting the work of global missionaries Irma and Mario Martinez, originally from Argentina. The Barretos have worked hard with Nazarene churches in the cities of Coqueiro and Aeopuerto to form the NYI ministry (Nazarene Youth International) in these local churches.
Having already established the NYI in the Church of the Nazarene in the city of Coqueiro, beginning Saturday, November 15, Leandro and Romina will go to support the church in the city of Aeropuerto to implement NYI there.
With a goal of helping the new disciples grow to have a dynamic life in Christ, they are using distinct work tools. Every Saturday, the NYI in the Church of the Nazarene in Coqueiro has an attendance of about 20 young people who invite others to hear the good news.
Your prayers are requested for new young believers and for those who have an interest in knowing more about Jesus, so they can understand and accept the love of the Savior.
