(Argentina CNSAM). The ordination services are a special time for the candidates, their families, churches and the districts as well, being that this is a requirement to go from Phase 1 to a Full District.
In countries where the Church of the Nazarene is growing, like Argentina, this is fundamental. Sunday the 13th and Wednesday the 16th of January 2013, Two ordination services where held, one in Embalse de Rio III, Córdoba Province (Mediterranean District) and another in Los Cerrillos, Salta Province (Northwest District Argentina).
January 13th on the Mediterranean District, representatives from 7 congregations, and a total of 80 people traveled to be with Pastor Juan Carlos Salinas of the Church of the Nazarene in Rio II, Córdoba. It was a long and productive journey starting with the celebration at District Assembly and continued with the giving of diplomas to all the Nazarene Seminary graduates and ended with the ordination.
At that time they enjoyed the visit of General Superintendent Dr. David Graves, Regional Director Dr. Christian Sarmiento and Dr. Jorge Julca South Cone Nazarene Theological Seminary Rector.
Wednesday January 13th the ordination service in Los Cerrillos, Salta was held with around 50 people present. Samuel Moyata who along with his wife have been pasturing the Church of the Nazarene in Jujuy for the last 20 years was ordained. Two churches from the city of Salta along with some pastors from the Jujuy Province attended the event.
