(CNSAM Brazil) Last Saturday, March 5, commemorating the International Women’s Day, there were gathered about 65 women pastors and pastors’ wives from the Sudeste Paulista District located in Campinas, Sao Paulo.
Some of them had already been meeting monthly for a time of fellowship, reading of the Word and to do crafts together, under the name of “Among Friends”. The purpose of these meetings was to promote the same environment, space and time to share blessings and difficulties, to establish ties in Christ that generate strength and wisdom to face the challenges in ministry and to fellowship sharing craft knowledge.
The issue addressed by Rev. Waner Nunes in this meeting was: “You are not alone”, emphasizing that we can still, even amidst great challenges in ministry, find in God His wonderful plans for victory. Also learning how to recognize in the history of great women of the Bible the emblematic manifestations of Grace, quest and wisdom to transform the barrenness to fruit for the glory of God. Sister Patricia Oliveira Cosimato, wife of the District Superintendent, Fernando César de Oliveira, lead a group together with a seminarian and the wife of Pastor Mauro, Flavia Blauth and Marcilene Felix.
