(Argentina CNSAM). Nazarene Compassionate Ministries (NCM) on the South American Region had a meeting in the regional offices in Pilar, Argentina from October 20-23, 2015.
NCM and Child Sponsorship coordinators from the 10 South American countries were present for a time of training and implementing the Regional vision for Nazarene Compassionate Ministries. Also present were some of the Coordinators of Integral Ministry and Rev. Trino Jara, Global Coordinator for Child Development; his wife, Anna Jara, Coordinator of the Child Development Center in the country of Armenia; Jeremy Moser, Coordinator of Global Finances of NCM and David González, Regional Coordinator of Integral Ministries and Leadership Coordinator.
Among the subjects dealt with were included the need to promote compassion as a lifestyle for all of Christ’s disciples; the curriculum DEM (Disciples in Ministry) that trains lay leaders in various ministries including the area of compassion, the policy for protecting children and the regional plan for responding to disasters.
Rev. Tabita González, Regional Coordinator of NCM, affirmed: “Thanks be to God we had a good and productive time together. I believe that God has given us an excellent team, with various gifts and capacities, which God will use to prepare His church to continue impacting their communities with the love of God both in word and action.”
