(CNSAM Argentina) The Pastoral Families Retreat was held on the campus of the Nazarene Seminary of the Southern Cone in Pilar, Argentina from August 13th – 15th. At the same time as the pastors and spouses participated in their retreat, the pastor’s kids participated in their own retreat on the same campus.
Between the two events, there were 350 people in attendance, among them all of the District Superintendents of Argentina, along with single and married pastors and their families. Among the invited special speakers were: The jurisdictional General Superintendent, Dr. Eugenio Duarte and the SAM Regional Director Dr. Christian Sarmiento, both of whom shared the Word of God each day; Rev. Geraldo and Rev. Waner Nunes who ministered to the married couples and the adolescents; Ana Maria dos Santos who ministered to single pastors and adolescents; also Dr. Miguel Ekezian spoke to the pastors about how to manage stress in ministry; Marcela Fabatier ministered to the children.
During the retreat, the District Coordinators for Women’s Ministries (MAM), Natioal Coordinator, Mercedes Zani, and Regional Coordinator, Waner Nunes, gathered together for a time of fellowship and to share the vision of this ministry to women.
It was a time of refreshing and renewal for the pastoral families of Argentina and we pray that God would continue blessing these families and the ministry that they carry forward.
