(Bolivia CNSAM). Superintendents and leaders from Bolivia’s six districts gathered for a retreat on the shores of Lake Titicaca, Bolivia, from February 20-23, 2013. Along with the scheduled meetings, the purpose of this activity was to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and fellowship in order to empower and engage the leadership in Bolivia on a deeper level.
The focus of the retreat was “Restoring Relationships.” There were times of great joy as meals were shared around the table, different experiences from the ministerial life of each superintendent were shared, as they received the Word of God during devotional times and were ministered to by the presence of the Holy Spirit. They also enjoyed times of relaxation and entertainment when friendship and fellowship among the national leaders were especially strong.
During the retreat, a series of meetings was held to discuss matters of competence of the Nazarene Administrative Council (CAN), National Coordinator of Integrated Ministries and other matters. The rector, Rev. Macedonio Daza, and the vice rector, Rev. Carlos Dapára, of the Nazarene seminary in Bolivia attended the event and presented their academic and administrative reports to the board of the Nazarene Seminary in Bolivia.
