(Argentina CNSAM). A new training session for “Tell the Story” was held December 12-13, 2014, in the South America Regional Offices of the Church of the Nazarene in Pilar, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
On this occasion Dr. Woodie Stevens, Global Coordinator of SDMI (Sunday School and Discipleship Ministries International), and his wife, Cheryl, trained 22 leaders and pastors from various parts of Argentina and Chile.
“Tell the Story” is a new teaching method which is used to tell Bible stories in an interesting and interactive way, in which the students together arrive at their own conclusions with guidance from the teacher. The training consists of 12 hours and those who complete it receive a participation certificate.
These training sessions began in Peru where 45 leaders were trained, and are continuing throughout the rest of the countries of this and other regions. The national and district leaders who have been trained are responsible for training the rest of the leaders so that they in turn train the leadership in the local churches.
