(Colombia CNSAM). On December 17, 2013, in the city of Bogotá, a training workshop was held at a national level.
The workshop held in the Casa de Encuentros San Pedro began at 9:30am and ended at 6:00pm. There were 40 people in attendance representing the 6 districts currently in Colombia; 24 participants in SDMI and 16 in Communications.
At this time, workshops were offered simultaneously for Sunday School and Discipleship (SDMI) and Communications. The speakers were Rev. German and Rev. Patricia Picavea who challenged the district and local coordinators to take these ministries to another level in 2014. In the Communications workshop Oscar Cardona of Colombia also participated, teaching about the good use of social networks in the ministry of the church. The SDMI workshop dealt with Organization and Administration of SDMI in which knowledge about the total structure of the ministry was shared and the materials to use with each age group were presented.
The event was organized by the National Coordinators, Pastor Juan Carlos Soto (Communications) and sister Ruth Arce (SDMI) together with Integrated Ministries Coordinator, Dr. Luis Meza.
Also present was the Regional Director for the South America Region for the Church Of The Nazarene, Dr. Christian Sarmiento, who challenged those present in the devotional to continue making Christ-like disciples through the ministries of Communications and Sunday School and Discipleship (SDMI).
The participants are grateful for this time of training and strengthening of the vision and equipping all those gathered there to continue conquering Colombia for Christ.
