(Venezuela CNSAM). From the 23rd to the 25th of March, 2012, the Church of the Nazarene in Venezuela celebrated its 30 years living under the power of Jesus Christ and preaching holiness.
With the slogan “Living under the power of One”, the representation from the five districts of the Church of the Nazarene in Venezuela came together at First church in Barinas, on the Llanos District. The celebration began with the participation of the National Coordinator for ministries, Rev. Carlos Cordero, and the message was brought by Rev. Mario Cintrón, pioneer church builder and planter in Venezuela. Also missionaries Zickefoose y Fischer who served in Venezuela were there.
It was a very special celebration and each message brought by Rev. Adalberto Herrera, pastor of the Church of the Nazarene in Cali, Colombia; Rev. José David Acosta, Regional Coordinator of Compassionate Ministries; Rev. Dwight Rich, Strategy Coordinator of North Andes and Dr. Christian Sarmiento, Regional Director were full of the presence of God.
In charge of the music each day was each district as well as a special presentation from the Haitian choir of Venezuela.
One special moment in the activity was the ordination of (Elders orders) Jairo Ceballos, Alberto Camargo, Juilbert Joissant and Alirio Piña and (Deacon orders) Marisol de Camargo and Norvelis Bernal. Their dedication and service are advancing the kingdom of God in Venezuela.
Close to the end of the activity, the church celebrated communion with all that were present. It was a moment of profound devotion and unequal emotion in which those Nazarenes present were challenged to form the new generations while maintaining our identity.
