(CNSAM Venezuela) Between June 4th and 5th, 2016, the Venezuela First District held its first Women’s Congress called “Woman: Awake and Arise”, at the Cartanal Nazarene Church from the state of Miranda, a Haitian membership church, which received 120 women from churches in the district.
Those responsible for the Congress’ lectures and sermons were pastors Lisbeth Gouveia and Olga da Mujica; the deaconess Beatriz de Andrade and the Coordinator for Venezuela Women’s Ministry, Nancy Cordero. It was a time of fellowship, unity, renewal and above all, the presence of the Holy Spirit in each of those present, who returned to their homes with the challenge of getting up each day as women warriors in times of challenges in Venezuela.
