(Venezuela CNSAM). The NYI Camp “Time of Conquest” was held August 19-24, in Nirgua, Yaracuy, Venezuela. The time was surrounded in an atmosphere of extraordinary motivation and training for the ministry of Venezuelan youth.
Youth pastor and coordinator of the camp, José González, along with the NYI national team, in answer to the demands of the Venezuelan youth ministry, provided a time of reviving, formation and training where more than 400 Nazarene young people met to be trained and to carry out their mission of “rescuing the people who are kidnapped by darkness and to make them soldiers of God’s army”.
Among the team of speakers was Isaías Alfonzo, worship leader of the Pentecostal Church La Cruz, an independent ministry; Iván Pirela, Director of the ministry Youth Solutions; Jimmy de Gouveia, Regional Coordinator of NYI and Gustavo Santana, Youth Pastor of the San Felipe Church of the Nazarene in Venezuela, who along with other pastors and leaders directed the training in different areas of youth ministry.
During the camp there were sports competitions, entertainment nights, rallys, theater night, folkloric and street dances, evening devotions and on the last day, as is custom, the young people climbed to the top of the mountain to watch the sunrise and to have a time of worship and thanksgiving.
