(Brazil CNSAM). In November 2015, the dam failure in a mine caused a tragedy that has affected the population of Mariana district, in the central region of the state of Minas Gerais in Brazil. Even after two months after the tragedy occurred, the media in the country continues disseminating the consequences of this environmental disaster.
To show compassion, Nazarenes from various parts of Brazil, joined in sending 110,000 liters of bottled water to the affected population. The Church of the Nazarene in Governador Valadares was one of the sites responsible for receiving and distributing the donations.
Pastor Carlos Pascoal, said that he received requests for donations from the Military Police and from the public school teachers network. Beyond these requests, the entire population benefited from this miracle.
The Church of the Nazarene gives thanks to the generous brothers and sisters throughout Brazil that contributed to this mobilization of love.
